Eclectic Restaurant

A 1970s inspired restaurant in the 15th in Paris, the concrete is softened with warm and luxurious fabrics and golden lighting.

After being approached by the eminent Parisian restaurateurs, Jean-Louis Costes and Philippe Amzalak, Design Research Studio created this striking restaurant in the 15th arrondissement.

Drawing inspiration from the 1970s architecture surrounding the site, the design plays with colour, simple repeat modules and clean geometry, intended to soften the hard finishes of the contemporary building.

Warmth and comfort are the key drivers for the interior: the concrete is softened with brass, while the whole restaurant is scattered with custom-designed products.
